The ten-millisecond ceiling is the only edge limit that changes your architecture
Free-tier edge platforms advertise request counts, but the binding constraint is CPU per invocation. Ten milliseconds rules out server-side rendering and in-request Markdown parsing, and pushes an agent-facing publication into a shape that is also, conveniently, the shape agents prefer.
Web Bot Auth became a working group item, and the citation everyone uses is stale
On 1 September 2026 the HTTP-signature bot authentication draft was adopted as draft-ietf-webbotauth-httpsig-protocol-00. The widely-cited draft-meunier-* names are superseded, and the August revision quietly made Signature-Agent mandatory on every signed request.
x402 v2 renamed the payment headers, and most agent code has not noticed
Version 2 of x402 replaced the single X-PAYMENT header with a three-header exchange and moved network identifiers to CAIP-2. The spec changed in December 2025; the tutorials did not. Agents built from published examples will send a header no conforming resource server reads.
